What's the extent of your powers?

It depends on which metal I'm burning. There are eight basic metals plus four higher metals. I'm only familiar with twelve but there is a total of sixteen allomantic metals. They are usually paired in groups of two. Steel and Iron enable me to push and pull various metals respectively. You've already seen me use them.
Pewter enhances the body, reflexes, strength, healing, everything, it burns very quickly. Tin enhances the senses... burn too much and I can be easily blinded or deafened in a battle.

Zinc can Riot other people's emotions but only those they're currently experiencing. It can enhance them, bring them to the surface. Brass does the opposite. It soothes and lessens emotions.

Bronze lets me sense others who can burn metals while Copper while shields others from doing the same.

Atium, which I have none of, anticipates the moves of everyone around the user. Gold... is not a metal anyone likes to burn. It shows us who we could be if we made different choices. It's difficult to explain.

[He pauses, that's not all the metals but he'll give Erik a chance to speak.]

[He smiles because oh it's like teaching Vin all over again.] No, not exactly. We used to believe they were. Gold is paired with the 11th metal which shows us what other people may have been if they didn't make the choices they did.

The last two I'm aware of are Aluminum and Duralumin. Duralumin offers a burst of power if you burn it with another metal but it will burn the metal from your body completely. Aluminum will burn away all metals in your body without any burst of power. Inquisitors would force us to burn it as a method of depowering us.

I know there are other metals and I have learned their names but not their composition or purpose. It's dangerous to burn an unknown metal. If an alloy is off by as little as one percent it can leave you sick for days.

It's alarming, and makes him wonder if there's something similar in his world.

It can be deadly. It depends on the heath of the Mistborn and if they have a steady supply of pewter to ward off the affects. The metals we use are often poisonous if left in the body. It's important to burn away excess metals at the end of the day.

[He holds up a small vial with metal flakes inside an alcohol solution.] Our power comes from the metals. Power sources. Pewter is the most dangerous to the user. It can keep a man alive past the point he should have died but if he runs out before his body heals, he will die. Pewter burns very quickly.

[He takes a small bead of it from the vial. ] This much will last 30 minutes on a slow burn. Flaring it will increase its effectiveness but it would only last 5 minutes.

Tin burns the slowest, a bead of the same size in tin can last hours if not an entire day.

Pewter depletes too quickly to ever be well stocked. Otherwise, I have enough to get by. I carry three vials at all times.
