[Kelsier smiles brightly to the feed. He waves a scarred hand at the camera.]

For those who I haven't personally irritated, my name is Kelsier. I'm dead. Well, I'm fairly certain I am.

I'm curious, how many of us know for certain we are dead? At home. Not here, of course, or I am a very articulate and lively corpse.

[SPAM FOR MARSH]

[Kelsier is the annoying little brother sometimes. Scratch that, all the time.

And today it comes as a knock on Marsh's door.]


[Greenhouse spam]

[Late into the evening, Kelsier is found in the greenhouse near a bed of a certain type of flower. Now and then, he says something to them. He sits on the floor.

Later into the night, he falls asleep there.]

You think she'd want you to live on without her?

[A sigh as he looks over the scars on his hands and arms.]

She gave her life for mine. I know she wanted me to live.

So live.

[Easier said than done. She gives a wry smile.]

Who's Raven?

[That catches him off guard for a second then he laughs. He expects she already knows but...]

Someone from Erik's world. She's a shapeshifter but not like a Kandra. She just needs to look at someone to mimic them. She's naturally blue skinned when she isn't using her powers.

She reminds me of you in some ways.

[She knew most of this. Not the specifics of shapeshifting, but - the last part is a surprise, and it shows.]

Spent her childhood in hiding, trying not to be noticed.

[He sighs, sort of half smiling.] But... it's a common theme with all of us, isn't it?

Why do you ask?

[She thinks about what Raven said - about fear, about anger - and it does make a little bit of sense. Though she still doesn't believe she's brave.]

[Glancing up at him, she shrugs, poker-faced.]

She said she knew you.

Oh. When did you two talk?

[He just really really hopes she didn't tell Vin about visiting Kredik Shaw in CTS. Vin would know the significance.]

Not long ago. Before the port.

[And Raven realized that Vin is dead. Which would be a bad thing for Kelsier to know.]

She asked what people did here first.
